Wonder Phone — building a premium experience for a modern kosher device

What impressed me most about Prismport was how personally they took the project. Shreyas and Pratik were genuinely invested, always on top of every detail, and treated our success like their own. It didn’t feel like just another job to them — they truly cared.

Increase in Sales

We first spoke to Joel after he reached out to us through our website. On the call, he explained what they were building.

It was a flip phone.

That immediately stood out. As he went on, the idea behind it became much clearer.

Wonder was built around the idea of kosher, a principle deeply rooted in Jewish life that emphasises purity, intention, and conscious boundaries. Applied to technology, it means staying connected without being overwhelmed, limiting distraction, and keeping focus on what actually matters.

Smartphones make that difficult. Notifications, feeds, and apps compete endlessly for attention. Wonder was created to remove that noise while still allowing people to stay connected.

What made the project especially interesting was the product itself. Most kosher phones on the market are plastic, basic, and visually dated. Wonder was the opposite. A metal chassis. Solid weight. Careful detailing. The ambition was clear: premum quality in a category that had never been treated that way.

The website had to carry that same weight.

Finding the visual direction

We spent time studying how premium consumer hardware is presented online, not to imitate styles, but to understand how restraint, pacing, and focus are used to let a product speak.

Early concepts explored a more dramatic direction, including warmer lighting and stage-like presentation. They were visually strong, but they pushed the experience further than the product needed.

Together with Joel, we pulled things back. The direction shifted toward darker surfaces, controlled contrast, and letting the device sit clearly in frame. Once that decision was made, everything else aligned quickly.

After reviewing the refined designs, Joel said he loved the direction and was genuinely excited to see it translated into a working site. That moment set the tone for the rest of the project.

Designing motion around the device

The physical interaction of the phone mattered. The hinge. The flip. The way it opens and closes.

Our 3D artist worked a lot to model the device accurately, then designed scroll-based sequences where the phone rotates and opens as users move through the page. The goal was to help people understand the product visually before asking them to read.

The hero animation became a key moment. As the page loads, the phone opens calmly, introducing the product without forcing attention.

Bringing it to life

As development progressed, the challenge was balancing visual fidelity with practicality. Some early animation files were heavier than we wanted, especially for mobile. We refined assets, adjusted how and when they load, and made careful trade-offs between size and quality.

The end result keeps the experience intact without feeling sluggish or fragile across devices.

From experience to purchase

The site also needed to convert.

We integrated Shopify through Smootify, keeping checkout fast and familiar while retaining full control of the visual experience in Webflow so Joel’s team can manage products and updates without touching the core build.

After launch, feedback was immediate. Visitors commented on the quality of the site, and the phone received approval from major kosher filtering systems, opening up broader trust and distribution. Sales followed and increased by over 50 percent. Time on page increased significantly through scroll-driven exploration.

One moment stood out for us personally. After seeing the finished site, Joel offered to include a “Designed by Prismport” credit in the footer. Not because we asked, but because he wanted people to know who built it. That link still sends consistent organic traffic our way today.

Wonder Phone was a reminder that building something calm, intentional, and premium takes real discipline. When every decision points in the same direction, people feel it immediately.
